Editor's Note: I discovered these photos recently on a misplaced memory card.
The July 4 parade was small, but the weather was great. Click images to enlarge.

This hot rod 1957 Cheverolet Bel Air was equipped with aftermarket AC - a nice touch on a hot summer day.

What's a parade without tractors? This well cared-for Farmall is a looker and a working tractor.

Bardstown businessx man Marvin Greenwell pilots a bright red Case tractor during the parade.

Sometimes parade participants did a little sight-seeing themselves.

Jon Ryan drives this restored Ford 4000 tractor. The tractor belongs to Ryan's son, who received it as a gift from his great-grandfather.

This beautifully restored John Deere tractor traveled the parade route with passengers, a textbook illustration of unsafe tractor operation.

The beautiful and talented Kayla Gies, in her role as Miss Nelson County, waves to the crowed.

This classic Ford Model A was the oldest restored car in the parade.

Is the front license plate a hint of the car's heritage? Hmmm...

An Abraham Lincoln character waves to the crowd along the route. Penny for your thoughts, Abe?

A group of performers from Stephen Foster - The Musical ride in a carriage, singing along the way.

Tony Heady, right, waves from aboard The Kentucky Standard's entry.
